On 15th October 2024, RC Saturday E Jazz successfully completed its contribution to the District 9213 7 by 7 Challenge at Bulamuka Primary School in Kamuli District. This collaborative initiative brought together seven Rotary clubs to make a meaningful difference in communities through projects aligned with Rotary’s core priorities.
Focusing on the Environment, our club led a tree-planting initiative around Bulamuka Primary School. The goal was to enhance the school’s surroundings, promote environmental awareness, and contribute to a healthier ecosystem for both learners and the broader community.
This effort directly benefited 672 students and positively impacted more than 1,000 residents in the surrounding area of Buzaaya County. By increasing tree cover, the project improved the school’s learning environment and supported long-term ecological health.
The project stood as a testament to what could be achieved through collaboration, commitment, and a shared vision for sustainable change.
